Discuss the examples below and explain how to write the numbers from word form and expanded form in standard form. Review how to rewrite 10 ones as 1 ten, and 10 tens as 1 hundred, and so on.

Issue a Multiple Representations sheet to each student. Instruct students to write the standard numbers from the word bank that correctly express each representation. Have students review their solutions by comparing their answers with a partner.
